I don't think friendship is ever "invasive" M'Lady Daisy.
I'm also wondering if "life" hs just scooped her up and whisked her for a brief time as "life" has a way of doing that. I'm now intent on seeing her post her again. You reeled me in from "life" once, remember? |

*runs round the thread giving out hugs* Yes, I've been dealing with a rather full plate, and feeling like there isn't enough of me to go around. Margret is begining to feel better again, I'm glad to say, and with the arrival of leaves and flowers and sunshine, so am I. Even with allergies it is good to be able to greet spring.  Dame Jaleo!! |

I'm working on some earrings this morning (besides posting!)
Yesterday Margret and I went to a gathering in New Jersey, and I noticed water collecting in one of the intersections we went through. On the way back, after the gathering, I came to a road closed sign, a police car with flashing lights just beyond the barrier so you would notice it in the dark. Reason? Water playing small river all the way across the road. Bah. Our hostess led us (and 3 other cars of guests) to the Parkway by another route. The water made it impossible to get to the close entrance ramp, so we went to the next northward entrance. Good thing she was leading us, or I would have been totally lost. Got home safely, but it felt like a very long drive with the continuing heavy rain. Was ready for sleep much earlier than usual. Margret had a MARVELOUS time, and even answered one of the trivia questions entirely on her own. *proud mama here* Dame Jaleo!! |

Yes, Margret is exceedingly pleased that she knew the answer.
The question was "When was Ricky Martin born, and where?" Since they were both born in 1971, and he was born on Christmas Eve, that part was easy. She had such a good time chatting with everyone, enjoyed the food so much (baked ziti, salad and garlic bread) and ~adored~ the cake with a photo of Ricky on top so much that she chattered the entire way home, about 2 hours, and for at least an hour more after we got there. Dame Jaleo!! |
